Dear valued members, well-wishers, and the global MOSU community, It is with sincere humility and a deep sense of responsibility that I assume the role of President of Morang Sunsari Sewa Samaj, MOSU Nepal. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for the trust and confidence you have placed in me to lead this respected and distinguished organization. Since its establishment in 2001 in Qatar, MOSU has stood as a proud symbol of unity, service, and commitment. What began as a platform to connect individuals from Morang and Sunsari working abroad has grown into a dynamic organization dedicated to supporting our homeland. The formal registration of MOSU in Nepal on 5 Paush 2068 BS marked a significant milestone, enabling us to expand our reach and strengthen our impact at both national and international levels. Today, MOSU has evolved into a strong global network, with its central office in Itahari, Sunsari, and active chapters in Qatar, Oman, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and Malta, along with the continued support of members in Australia, the UK, the USA, and beyond. This growth reflects the dedication, unity, and shared vision of our members worldwide. I would like to acknowledge with deep respect the visionary leadership and commitment that built this organization. My sincere appreciation goes to the ad hoc committee led by Mr. Basudev Khadka and the first General Assembly under Mr. Gajendraman Khatri. I also extend my gratitude to all past Presidents, Mr. Saroj Bastola, Mr. Chhabi Prasad Subedi, Mr. Gokul Bahadur Thapa, Mr. Badri Prasad Bimali, Mr. Ramnath Bhandari, and Mr. Lok Bahadur Tamang, whose efforts have shaped MOSU into what it is today. As I take on this responsibility, I am committed to building on this strong foundation with renewed energy and clear focus. Our priorities will be to strengthen unity across all chapters, expand meaningful social, educational, and humanitarian initiatives, improve coordination among international branches, and promote transparency, collaboration, and sustainable development. We will also work to build strong partnerships with local and provincial governments and move forward with establishing a permanent MOSU office that represents our identity and long-term vision. I firmly believe that through unity, dedication, and collective effort, we can further elevate MOSU’s role in serving our communities in Morang, Sunsari, and beyond. I look forward to your continued support, guidance, and active participation as we move ahead together with pride and purpose. Thank you. TN Baral President MOSU Nepal
